Hello, welcome to our mogblog!

thank you for taking the time to open our first ever post. Not only is mogbog uk a new company, we are also new to blogging so we hope you stay and read through to the end and enjoy what we have to share.

We have been cat owners ourselves for many years and wanted to create a luxury but fun brand that had a purpose for all cat owners out there. The struggle we had finding the perfect tray for our cats (and us) was real so we decided to create our own.

With the help of our two cats Nepoleon (top) and Sebastian (bottom) we have worked hard to create a modern cat litter tray that you can be proud to own. We got the brothers at 8 weeks old and they are now currently 13 years old. Most people cannot distinguish the difference between them at first and it takes them a while as they do look like twins but they do have their own personalities with Nepoleon acting more like a dog

Over the years they have tried a number of litter trays from the basic rectangular trays which are just too small and litter ends up everywhere to boxes with a swing door. Although these seem good on paper, as some look stylish and hide odours, they are just too impractical as you cannot see if they need changing, need extra time and effort to clean, your cat cannot see if they are safe, doors break, clips for lids break and they don't hide odours as expected.

So...

we did our research on the trays and boxes that were available and drew up a list that had to be practical, functional, simple and aesthetically pleasing. Common sense really. After testing a number different styles it was obvious that keeping it simple is best. We found our tray had the following benefits:

• easy to change, empty and clean the litter,
• contain the litter due to the high sides,
• stop litter from being walked into other rooms due to the grid,
• provide security and comfort for the cat when using the tray,
• also large enough for them to turn around easily.
• stylish enough to show in any room.

We did not need fancy linings and filters or removable closed lids and doors to satisfy our cats. A modern, clean and simple approach was all it took to make it a suitable solution for any and every cat and location.

Another noticeable advantage which we didn't realise until after the cats started using it was the noise. With all the previous cheaper trays that they have had you could hear them scratching and digging in the tray or on the side wall when covering up their business. This noise is so annoying and can go on an on but since using this tray, we have never noticed it.

Creating the tray has been a lot of hard work but fun as we have been able to spend more time with our cats. They happily use the tray and we are amazed with the way it looks.
